Responsibilities

    • Please get your children to class on time every week.
    • Please be prompt in picking your child(ren) up.
    • Do not block traffic in parking lot and use caution when entering the dance center parking lot.
    • Please LABEL all dance shoes, and dance center apparel with LAST NAME. Please do not allow your child(ren) to wear dance shoes OUTSIDE.
    • A dance bag is required for all dancers.
    • Please make sure that your child(ren) are properly outfitted for class each week in a Dance Center approved leotard.
    • Please make sure dancer’s hair is tied back “off the face” and all BALLET STUDENTS must hair in a “NEATLY” wrapped bun with hair net. If you forget, ballet Bun kits are available at desk- $1.00.
    • Please CALL IN all absences.
    • There is no food allowed in dance rooms. Only water is allowed in dance rooms.
    • Please remember that you are responsible for SIBLINGS; keep them SAFE and UNDER CONTROL in waiting room areas.
    • While classes are in session, the dance room doors sholid remain closed.
    • If you wish to speak to a child’s teacher, she is OBLIGATED to start her next class on time but will gladly call you at the end of the day.
    • STUDENTS and PARENTS sholid be respectfli in the lobby area, using their “inside voices” and keeping voices down.
    • Please do not touch the closed-circuit televisions. Please ask the desk for assistance.
    • Please remind students to PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES and RESPECT dance center property.
    • Please keep students jewelry and valuables at home.
    • Please check your child’s dance bag for notices/ or dance company mailboxes.
    • Please check your e-mails for updates.
    • Please check the lost and found FREQUENTLY.
    • Please pay accounts on time as LATE FEES are issued on OVERDUE accounts.
    • Please avoid being a gossip who may spread MISINFORMATION. If you need to discuss a situation, please call the office to arrange a mutually convenient meeting time.
    • Please don’t compare your child(ren) to other dancers or discuss such comparisons with other parents.
    • Please TRUST your child’s teacher’s evaluation, since they are PROFESSIONAL DANCE EDUCATORS and only have your child’s best interest at heart.
    • Please review our studio policies with your children to help them understand why it is important for EVERYONE to follow the Dance Center rlies.
